Feast on Chinese classics made sustainably to ring in the Year of the Dog

From 5 February to 3 March 2018, ring in a prosperous year at mezza9 by starting off with the ‘Double Happiness And Good Luck’ sustainable Yu Sheng, topped off with Norwegian Atlantic salmon and Mediterranean sea bass for the price of SGD 48++.

 

A highlight from our kitchen this year is the claypot braised MSC-certified wild abalone, mushrooms, broccoli and superior stock (SGD 38++). It features exclusive use of the world’s first sustainable wild abalone, imported from the Western Australia Abalone Fishery. This is the first abalone fishery in the world to be awarded the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification for the internationally desired and hand-collected species of greenlip abalone, brownlip abalone and roei.

 

Other classic Chinese dishes on the menu include crispy-fried soon hock, black tiger prawns, yesso scallops, black mussels, sesame seeds and chilli (SGD 88++) and poached whole kampong chicken, black fungus, ginkgo nuts, red dates, old ginger and Chinese wine (SGD 48++).

StraitsKitchen 

Available on 15 and 16 February 2018, StraitsKitchen presents a halal-certified buffet spread filled with beloved Chinese classics and other delicacies for the New Year. All-time favourites include double boiled ‘Buddha Jump over the wall’ soup, braised dried oyster with black moss, chicken feet, dark soy sauce and superior sauce, and crispy-fried red garoupa with baoling mushrooms, roasted garlic and dried chilli.  Each table will also be served a Yu Sheng platter to top off their Chinese New Year feasting.
